874,735. Suspended ceilings. GREGOROVIC, D. Sept. 17, 1958 [Oct. 7, 1957], No. 29703/58. Classes 20(4) and 87(1). A suspended ceiling comprises flanged metal or plastic panels 1 of which two opposite flanges 3 are formed with incurled edges 4a which are received by inverted U-section rails 29 suspended from a support 42 by hangers 47, 49, 53, the lowers ends 53a of which engage under strips s bent up from the tops of the rails 29. Parallel rails 29 are connected together by angle strips 34, 35 provided with tongues 36 to engage under the strips s. The lower edges of the rails 29 may be incurled at 33, Fig. 3, or the limbs of the rails may be bent inwardly as shown in Fig. 4.
