Abstract

1333014 Ni-base alloy INTERNATIONAL NICKEL Ltd 7 July 1972 [7 July 1971] 31958/71 Heading C7A A Ni-base alloy, with high corrosion resistance and stress rupture stength, comprises: - the balance, apart from impurities such as up to 3% in total Fe, Mn and Si, being Ni. The Ta may also contain impurity amounts (e.g. up to #Ta content) of Nb. The cast alloy may be solution treated at 1150-1250‹C for 1-4 hours and aged at 950-1100‹C for 8-24 hours. Use Stator blade in gas turbine engines.
