Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a heat resistant Ni alloy with high creep rupture strength, superior ductility at the time of rupture and high corrosion resistance which alloy has a specified compsn. consisting of C, Cr, Al, Ti, W, Mo, Co, Nb, B, Ta, Zr, and the balance Ni and accompanying impurities.
CONSTITUTION: This alloy consists of, by wt., C 0.08W0.15%, Cr 15W20%, Al 1.5W5%, Ti 1W5% (Al+Ti 2.5W7%), W 3.5W6%, Mo 3.5W6%, Co 5W 10%, Nb 0.1W1%, B 0.002W0.02%, Ta 0.5W3%, Zr 0.05W3%, and the balance Ni and accompanying impurities. It is suitable for use as a material esp. for a gas turbine blade.
