Abstract

1319280 Brazing flux solution SOC ANON DES USINES CHAUSSON 7 Dec 1970 [15 Dec 1969] 58114/70 Headings C7E and C7M [Also in Division B3] A brazing flux for use in brazing together stainless steel and aluminium or aluminium alloy parts (see Division B3) comprises in parts by weight per 100 parts of water: zinc chloride 10, lithium chloride 10, sodium chloride 30, potassium chloride 41 and aluminium fluoride 9. The stainless steel is first pickled in a solution containing 0À1 1 HNO 3 , 20 grams NaF and 0À8 1 H 2 O per 1 of solution.
