1316551 Door opening and closing damping device I JOST [trading as CARL ISCHEBECK] 4 Oct 1971 [6 Oct 1970] 46097/71 Heading E2M [Also in Division F2] A device to damp both opening and closing of e.g. a sliding door comprises a cylinder 10 having two coaxial piston and piston rod assemblies 15, 16 and 18, 19 cooperating with. a bearing ring disc 12, that assembly which damps the opening movement being loaded for return to operative position by a spring 30, .while the other assembly is returned to operative position by its interdependence with the bearing-ring disc and entraining piston rod 27.
