Lever-actuated pumps; adjusting time of operation; stroke, varying.- The plungers c of the fuel pumps of an internal-combustion engine are actuated by cams b acting on rollers e carried by leversd, against which the plungers are held by springs m. The levers can be slid over the plungers to adjust the length, duration, and time of the stroke by turning, by hand or a governor, a shaft k carrying eccentrics i connected to arms of levers f on which the levers dare pivoted.
