Cam-actuated pumps; timing-devices. - The plunger of a fuel pump for supplying a multicylinder engine is actuated by a number of segmental cams g arranged in the same plane and separately adjustable on the shaft a to vary the timing of the injection into the engine. The segments are secured to a fixed flange on the shaft by bolts k which pass through a loose centering ring i and oblong holes n in the segment. Adjustment of the segments is effected by wedges l which may be drawn in between adjacent ends of the segments to move them angularly on the shaft.
