Abstract

1299259 Breech blocks FORENADE FABRIKSVERKEN 11 June 1970 28340/70 Heading F3C A breech block 3 for a rifle comprises a body portion having a bore 15 in which a head 5 is locked by a radially extending pin 9. The head 5 is provided with eccentric bores for the reception of a firing pin 6 and a spring loaded ejector 7 which each have a transversely directed groove for locking co-operation with a flat U-shaped clip 10 introduced transversely into the head 5. The head 5 is further provided with a groove for the reception of an extractor 8, a yoke 11 of which abuts the clip 10 to prevent its rotation. The radially extending pin 9 and the extractor are held in place by a countersunk spring clip 14 which encircles the body portion of the breech block. The body portion has locking means, e.g. locking lugs 4, at its forward end for guiding and locking the breech block in the receiver.
