1276690 Heat-treating nickel alloys UNITED AIRCRAFT CORP 13 Oct 1969 [13 Nov 1968] 50209/69 Heading C7A , An alloy containing in percentage by weight: - CR 9À5-14 Mo 5-6À5 Ti 2.6-4 B 0.01-0.02 Ni 40-45 C # 0À1 Mn # 0À5 Si # 0À4 P # 0À03 S # 0À03 Co # 1 Al # 0.75 Cu # 0À5 Fe balance is solution treated at 968‹ -1010‹ C. for at least 1 hour, and precipitation hardened at 704‹ -732‹ C., the minimum treatment times preferably being 1 hour and four hours respectively. A second precipitation treatment at 621‹ -677‹ C. for a minimum of 12 hours may follow.
