Abstract

1,271,690. Insect screens. R. A. GREEN. 1 Dec., 1970 [1 Dec., 1969], No. 58498/69. Heading E1J. An insect screen, particularly for sliding windows of vehicles and including panes which move in their own planes about respective axes perpendicular to those planes, comprises a foraminated panel 21 shown as sandwiched between two frames 22a and 22b, the part 23 of the frame being shaped to fit within a guide channel 14 of a fixed window frame in which a glass pane, 12 slides (vertically as shown) the lower edge of the screen frame being formed, as by the extending strips 24, 25, with a channel 26, outwardly facing to fit over the top edge of the glass pane 12 when the pane is in partly open position, the whole periphery of the screen frame 20 being so shaped to fit within the window aperture then left open.
