Abstract

1,261,808. Gas heating apparatus. MELITOPOLSKY MOTORNY ZAVOD. 22 April, 1969, No. 20366/69. Heading F4S. Gaseous medium is passed by a fan 29 into conduits 18, 8 of a heat exchanger having at least three concentrically and spacedly mounted cylinders 3, 4, 5 to be heated by indirect contact with combustion products from a liquid fuel fired combustion chamber 13 situated within the heat exchanger. The combustion products pass via pipes 15, 16 to conduits 6, 7 adjacent the conduits 18, 8 for eventual exhaustion through an outlet pipe 17. The combustion chamber is of T-shape having an upper air inlet pipe 14 passing through a casing 1 of the heat exchanger and through a port 12 interconnecting the conduits 6, 7. The pipe 14 accommodates a burner 19 and an ignition plug 20 and is situated on the same transverse axis of the heat exchanger as the outlet pipe 17.
