1409029 Liquid heaters; balanced flues VULKAN WERK HERMANN SCHWARTE GmbH 30 March 1973 15554/73 Headings F4A and F4W A liquid heater includes a gas heated furnace comprising a pair of upright outer chambers 10 for liquid, an inner upper portion 12 of a combustion chamber 23 is enclosed between the liquid chambers, air is fed into the combustion chamber through inlet pipe 21 and passageway 22 via a fan 20. Mounted eccentrically within the inlet pipe 21 is an exhaust gas pipe 18 for the discharge of exhaust gases from the combustion chamber. The upper portion 12 of the combustion chamber 23 is provided with a series of baffles 15, arranged as shown in Fig. 1, to direct the hot gases towards the exhaust gas pipe 18.
