Abstract

125,859. Barringer, W. R. Aug. 13, 1918. Submarine vessels.-A marine life-saving apparatus and one-man boat for use for submarine observation comprises a metal casing 5 adapted to be slipped over the head and body, and flexible leg portion 10 secured to the open end 9 of the casing. A propeller 16 is driven by an electric motor 13 or by compressed air stored in a tank 18. The arms are inserted in flexible sleeves 23. The boat is submerged by compreesing a collapsible chamber 25, which is connected to the compressed air tank by a tube 28. Windows 7 are fitted in the front of the casing.
