121,668. Mappin, W. S. Feb. 11, 1918. Limbs, artificial.-A limb is made in sections of aluminium or other material brazed or riveted together. Fig. 2 shows a leg, the thigh and knee being formed of metal pieces A, B connected to a central frame E by a pivot passing through tubular members C. Two sheet-metal parts F, fixed on each side of the frame E, extend from the knee to the ankle joint. The foot is formed of sheet-metal pieces G, H, O and is pivoted to the frame E.
