Trusses.-An abdominal support comprises a leather apron in two sections a, b, and consisting of inner and outer layers enclosing a flexible copper or other metal plate. The apron is attached to a U-shaped metal rod 1, the ends of which are curved over the hips. The support is attached to the wearer by straps 6, 7. A hernia pad may be attached to the apron.
