Abstract

118,654. Thomas, B. H. July 31, 1917. Limbs, artificial. -A foot, specially suitable for use with a Syme's stump, is of the kind described in Specification 107,997, comprising parts a, b connected by a buffer c, and pivotally connedted to a leg part d which consists of a shallow pad and to which are secured bars g, two of which are extended to receive the pivot e. The bars g are curved outwards to clear the ankle and are riveted to a shin-guard m, which is secured at the side as by rivets n to a legging o, which embraces the leg and is fastened thereto by lacing p.
