Abstract
1,197,671. Regulating I.C. engines. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. Jan. 12, 1968 [Jan. 14, 1967], No. 1821/68. Heading F1B. An electric switch 25 responsive to induction passage vacuum controls an electromagnet 23 operating a throttle valve 19 in the induction passage 18 through a lever 22 so that the induction passage vacuum during engine over-running is not allowed to persist above the level that occurs during engine idling. The vacuum responsive throttle valve adjustment is effected independently of the operation of the valve 19 by a device 21 controlled by a pedal.
