[Class 135] The quantity of -fuel delivered per cycle by the fuel-injection pump of an internal combustion engine is controlled according to the quantity of air available by a servomotor system which includes a floating lever, and manually-operated means is provided to adjust the leverage of the floating lever to control the fuel-air ratio. As shown, a stack of capsules 16 actuates through a floating lever 15, a valve 13 controlling the servo-piston 11 which is connected to the pump and the lever 15 regulator is pivoted also at 22 to the stem 23 of the servo-piston. The pivot pin 22 rides in slots 21, 25 in the lever 15 and stem 23, respectively, and it is embraced by a fork carried by a longitudinally-slidable rod 26, so that its position in the slots can be adjusted. The capsules 16 may be subject, through ports 28, 29, to the pressure of the supercharger, to the pressures at the suction and pressure sides of the supercharger, to exhaust and induction pressures, to changes due to change in altitude, e.g. air temperature, to throttle-setting, or to supercharger speed.
