Rotary d i s k vaaves. - A handactuated valve particularly applicable for use on aeroplanes and automobile vehicles comprises a disk 9 having a recess 10 adapted to connect the inlet and outlet ports 2, 3. The valve member is held to its seat by a spring 13 arranged between the valve member and a washer 12 supported by an outer casing 8 adjustably screwed to the main casing and secured by a split pin passed through one of a series of holes in the cover and a hole in a flange formed on the casing. The valve is held in its adjusted position by a ball catch 20
