1,172,063. Air-cooled cylinder heads. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. April 18, 1968 [April 22, 1967], No.18328/68. Heading F1B. Lubricating oil is supplied to a chamber 38, with internal cooling fins 36, 37, in the cylinder head of an air-cooled engine. The chamber 38 is in the bridge piece between the inlet and exhaust passages 18, 19. The chamber 38 is closed at the top by a projection on the valve gear cover and the fins 36 do not extend over the whole height of the chamber.
