Abstract

116,874. White, R. J. March 21, 1918. Folding or knock-down boxes &c.-Boxes, packing-cases, crates, &c. are constructed with separable side, end, and bottom members, the side members a, b carrying parts c with grooves d, which receive fillets g on the end members f. Projections h on the fillets, preferably formed with inclined lower faces, are adapted to enter corresponding recesses in the parts c. The bottom member j, inserted from the top, rests on fillete i at the lower edges of the members a, b, f and the lid l, which may be hinged, fits between the upper ends of the parts c, g. The fillets g may be held in the parts c by clamps, screws, &c. The bottom j may be raised by means of a loop k.
