Abstract
1,162,890. Connections to flues. C.A.M.P.A. SOC. ANON. 17 Nov., 1967 [29 Nov., 1966], No. 52394/67. Heading F4W. A smoke box 15 has an inlet socket 16 in one side wall for connection to the outlet pipe 13 of an oil-fired heater 10, and an outlet pipe 17 in an adjacent side wall to connect to a smoke extraction duct (not shown). A deflection plate 19 is inserted between the inlet and outlet pipes. The socket 16 is a close fit in or around pipe 13 to allow rotation of the smoke box 15 when the system is cool, whereby the pipe 17 may be horizontally or vertically directed.
