Abstract

1,133,563. Balanced flue system. CALRAD Ltd. 19 Nov., 1966, No. 51886/66. Heading F4J. A balanced flue terminal comprises horizontal ducts 2, 4 connected to the flue outlet duct 1 and air inlet duet 6 respectively and communicating at each end with vertical open-ended passages 3. The flue outlet 1 of a stove may be connected directly into the upper of the two horizontal passages, a vertical duct 5 connecting the lower horizontal passage 4 to the air inlet 6 of the stove and being continued below it to form a condensation collector with a drainage outlet.
