Abstract

1,055,013. Air conditioning apparatus. P. W. A. VAN-HATTUM. Feb. 22, 1965, No. 7481/65. Heading F4V. In an air conditioning induction unit having a heat exchanger 5 and a primary air pipe 7 a valve arrangement controls air flow through the heat exchanger and a by-pass 12 and coinprises two rigidly interconnected plates 9 and 10 pivotable about an axis 11. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the heat exchanger is located with its longer transverse dimension horizontal and the pipe 7 has two rows of outlet apertures and two associated valve arrangements located symmetrically about a vertical plane.
