Abstract

1298044 Radiators M ANDREOLI 24 Dec 1970 61353/70 Heading F4S A radiator-convector 1 comprises upper and lower horizontal ducts 9 and 10 interconnected by a vertical passageway (11, Fig. 3, not shown) formed in an intermediate heat exchange structure 8. Inlet and outlet connections 16 and 17 are provided for the flow of heating fluid which may be a liquid. Spaced apart upper and lower sets of fins 20 and 21 are provided, and the intermediate structure 8 may be formed either with spaced ribs (28, Fig. 3) on its surfaces, or with outwardly extending fins (30, Fig. 5, not shown). Panels 3 and 4 secured to the side walls 14 and 15 close the central portion of the radiator 1 at the front and back. Flat members 22 and 23 are joined to the side walls 14 and 15 and to the ends of the fins 20 and 21. The radiator may be made of aluminium.
