Abstract

1369290 Space heating radiators; finned heat exchange tubes E W VAN DIJK 20 Dec 1972 [22 Dec 1971] 58809/72 Heading F4S A space-heating radiator comprises a plurality of parallel, uniformly spaced pipes 1 carrying a heating fluid, and metal sheet 4 in which profiles 5 are formed at spaced locations so as to each fit with snap action around one of the pipes 1, those parts of the sheet 4 between the profiles 5 being flat. Preferably as shown, the pipe portions 1 are vertical and are interconnected by horizontal portions 2. The ends of the sheet 4 are bent over at 7 and box-like enclosures 6 cover the pipe parts 2.
