Abstract

1317267 Space heaters ETABS CHEVALIER & BERTRAND 22 May 1970 [23 May 1969] 24967/70 Heading F4S In a central heating radiator adapted also for convector space heating, U-shaped fins 4 are secured by their base portions to a hot-water panel 1, and L-shaped capping members 6 are secured at the fin ends and define with said fins a plurality of convection-air conduits 8, the capping members together providing also a flat heat-radiating front surface of the apparatus. As shown, one limb 6a of each capping member extends between adjacent fins and is attached to the panel 1. U-shaped fins may also be attached to the rear face of the panel 1 as indicated. Removable capping members 9 are provided at the ends of the assembly which is attached by bolts 15 to a wall 13. Two or more of the radiator/convectors may be coupled by piping to form a larger unit (Fig. 4).
