1,131,689. Transverse flow blowers. HEIDOLPH - ELEKTRO K. G. Oct. 20, 1966 [Aug. 20, 1966], No.47001/66. Heading F1C. In a transverse flow blower, the air flow in the upper portion of outlet 7 passes along a wall section 8<SP>1</SP>, is resiliently diverted by an air cushion at wall section 8<SP>111</SP> and thereafter flows along wall section 8<SP>11</SP> to join the flow in the lower portion of the outlet in a manner resulting in laminar flow in the outlet.
