Abstract

1,162,605. Valves. SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN A.B. 27 April, 1967 [9 May, 1966], No. 19540/67. Heading F2V. [Also in Division F4] A ventilator valve which is flush mounted in a wall or roof of a room comprises a rectangular duct 1 with two beads 9 defining a Venturishaped passage 7 and a body 3 pivoted about a shaft 4 to control the air flow into the room through the passage 7. By reversing the orientation of the body 3 (Fig. 2, not shown), the valve may serve as an exhaust ventilator. The shaft 4 may be displaced laterally in a direction parallel or perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the duct 1, and the body 3 may be replaceable by another body of different shape.
