Abstract

931,765. Electrically heated air circulation systems. A. G. PEVERIL. Feb. 15, 1960 [Feb. 14, 1959], No. 5218/59. Class 39 (3). [Also in Groups XIII and XXVIII] Heating apparatus for a room, road, or for heating boil, includes an air conduit containing an electric heater and extending as two parallel runs, closely adjacent one above the other, to form a closed circuit between the inlet and outlet of a blower, whereby the coldest and hottest conduit portions are adjacent so that approximately the same total amount of heat is given out at all points of the circuit. Blower 6, Fig. 1, drives air through vertically adjacent conduits 17, 18 past heaters 7, 8 mounted in fireclay chambers 11, 12 within case 15, Fig. 3. The electric heating of the conduit air may be supplemented by use of the waste heat of a stove, and heat transfer between the two conduits may be facilitated by an interconnecting flange (see Group XIII).
