Abstract

The heater has main (3) and an auxiliary (12) heater bodies supplied from different sources. The auxiliary heater can be supported in a housing (7) fitting over the main body and the two heater bodies can be situated on opposite sides of a vertical partition (10) forming separate flues in the housing. The partition can be a plate fixed to the housing and carrying the auxiliary heater body, together with the controls for it. The design affords a compact means of, for example, solar heating, supplemented when necessary from another source.
