Abstract

112,583. Miller, H. P. E., and Tetlow, E. June 26, 1917. Valve-gear.-The inlet and exhaust valves are each actuated by mechanism comprising a roller h carried by a valve-rod and engaged on alternate revolutions of a cam c<4> mounted on a sliding sleeve c rotated at engine speed by a shaft a. The cam is moved into and out of line with the roller h by a spring-pressed pin d which engages a cross-over groove c' in the sleeve c. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1310/95.
