A tube - container closure device comprises a spigot 1 having an externally threaded portion 7, a cylindrical portion 8, an annular projection 9 and an apertured truncated core 4; and an internally threaded cap 2 having a discharge aperture 15 and an annular projection 13 which engages under the projection 9 when the cap is unscrewed to discharge the contents to act as a stop and sealing device.
