Abstract

1,261,362. Caps for bottles. C. D. WALLER. 14 April, 1969, No. 19038/69. Heading B8T. A container 1 has a dispensing cap 4 secured to its rim 2 by two or more lugs 6 which engage corresponding holes 3 or depressions in the rim to prevent relative axial and rotational motion. The cap 4 has one or more apertures 11 surrounded by a rib 12; the aperture(s) may be eccentrically placed. Either the cap 4 or the container 1 may be externally threaded to receive a closure cap 13 which is internally threaded. The closure cap 13 seals the aperture 11 by engaging the rib 12. The lugs 6 may engage the holes 3 externally to the container 1 and the closure cap may have only one skirt. An independent dispenser plug may be push fitted into the aperture 11 to reduce its size.
