1,062,226. Motor vehicle radiators; heat exchange elements. VYSKUMNY USTAV MECHANIZACIE A AUTOMATIZACIE. May 7, 1965, No. 19409/65. Heading F4S. A radiator for motor vehicles comprises upper and lower headers 3 and 6, having inlet and outlet pipes 4 and 7 respectively and being interconnected by cooling-block elements 5, formed by roll-bonding two strips of aluminium sheet together at predetermined positions, the sheets being subsequently dilated at intermediate positions by fluid pressure to provide one or more sinuous passages 1, through which the fluid to be cooled flows.
