Abstract
The inserts are for thermal interchange between a gas and one or more fluids, and comprise a box (4) of parallellipiped shape, inside which the fluid circulates. On the sides of the box are undulating sheet-metal components (2, 3) forming fins, and inside it are baffles controlling fluid circulation. The fins and baffles can be so arranging relation to each other as to give contra-flow, cross-flow parallel flow etc. In addition there can be reinforcing devices inside the box to aid resistance to wind pressure. The sheet-metal fins can be divided into contiguous strips, offset in relation to each other.
