Abstract
Non-ageing steel for deep drawing is produced by tapping steel of the following composition by weight: .C.less than 0.1 .Mn.0.2-0.8 .P.less than 0.03 .S.less than 0.03 .Cu.less than 0.2 .Fe and impurities balance,. vacuum degassing, casting either in air, vacuum or inert atmosphere, cold rolling to sheet and annealing in wet hydrogen to reduce the carbon content to less than 0.01% and the nitrogen to less than 0.001%. An exemplified final product contains <TABS:1020884/C6-C7/1>
