Abstract

A method of constructing the framework of a building structure comprises locating precast hollow or shell-like reinforced concrete frame members 12 or 15 in the required position and filling them with a structural mix of concrete which sets and bonds to them to form a unitary mass. The reinforcing elements 13, 14 and 16, 17 of the members 12, 15 stand proud of their internal surfaces. Vertical members such as 12 are of closed cross-section and horizontal members such as 15 are of channel section or closed cross-section with one side thereof partly or wholly omitted.
