Abstract
1,025,187. Building frameworks. J. K. SCHMIDT and K. K. SCHMIDT. Jan. 31, 1964 [Jan. 31, 1963], No. 4267/64. Heading E1V. In a building having one or more storeys of prefabricated elements, preferably of reinforced concrete its framework comprising F-shaped elements 1, 2 and inverted L-shaped or substantially L-shaped elements 5, 6, 7, the vertical legs 1, 6 of which act as pillars and the horizontal arms thereof 2, 5, 7 as loadbearing beams, the or each storey comprises at least one longitudinal row of the elements 1, 2 with aligned arms 2 secured abuttingly, at one or both sides of which are transverse inverted L-shaped or substantially L-shaped elements perpendicular thereto. Each row of elements 1, 2 has an inverted L-shaped element 3, 4 at each end, the arms 2, 3 thereof aligning abuttingly. The arms 5 rest in recesses such as 8 in the top of the elements 1, 2 or 3, 4. Flooring struts 9 are disposed parallel to the elements 1, 2 and are secured to the arms 5 of each adjacent pair of elements 5, 6, 7.
