Abstract

1,027,173. Building panels. HIGH SPEED SYSTEM BUILDING Ltd. July 26, 1962 [July 26, 1961], No. 27054/61. Heading E1B. In a building panel comprising a layer of concrete 7 secured by ties 1 to a layer built with bricks 5, each tie is in the form of a flat bar having an aperture 2 and welded-on rods 3, 4. The rods are speced from each other across the width of the bar and are of circular cross-section, the rod 3 being of larger diameter. The panel is assembled in a horizontal position and reinforcing rods 6 may be inserted in the concrete layer through the aligned apertures 2.
