Abstract

L'invention concerne une cage (10) pour loger des animaux de laboratoire, ladite cage comprenant un plateau (11) et un couvercle (12) pouvant être enlevé et permuté entre une première position de fermeture, à laquelle il est positionné sur ledit plateau (11), en empêchant ainsi l'accès à l'espace intérieur (14) délimité par ledit plateau (11), et une deuxième position d'ouverture, a laquelle ledit espace intérieur (14) est accessible. Le couvercle (12) comprend une portion de couvercle principale (17), une protection de bord latéral de mise en prise (18) s'étendant depuis ladite portion principale (17), et des moyens de contrainte (20) s'étendant depuis ladite protection de bord latéral (18), à ladite deuxième position d'ouverture. Les moyens de contrainte (20) se mettent en prise avec une portion dudit plateau (11), et ladite deuxième position dudit couvercle (12) par rapport audit plateau (11) est définie par la mise en prise réciproque desdits moyens de contrainte (20) et de ladite portion dudit plateau (11).
