Abstract

The building is constructed from pre-cast panels (6-9) built onto site-cast foundations (1). The walls are of cavity construction and the cavity is lined with mineral wool or expanded polystyrene insulation (10,11). The warm air handling unit is installed in the roof space. The warm air is distributed to the outlets (13) in each room by the air ducts (14) built into the inner skin of insulation (10). The ducts are formed by channels in the insulation or in the case of solid cavity fill by the spacing apart of two adjacent panels of insulation.

Description

The subject of the invention is a method of manufacturing a hot air heating circuit integrated in elements of industrial construction of buildings and, in particular, of residential houses.

Heating with hot air requires, whatever the temperature of the air conveyed, a duct distribution system. When such heating is chosen, it is generally necessary to provide a distribution room placed approximately in the center of the house so as to supply all the rooms. If the dwelling has only one dwelling level, the hot air generator is placed in the basement and is connected by ducts to the rooms to be heated. The problem is more complicated when the dwelling is on two levels; it is then necessary to provide for the passage of the ducts for the upper level, so that the distances are as short as possible. These constraints mean that there is generally no provision for return vents, which would allow the recycling of air for the recovery of calories.

The sheaths are formed by pipes of circular or rectangular section formed by sheets of rolled or folded metal and externally insulated. This construction has many drawbacks, among which the cost price, the size, the transmission of noise and the implementation problems. These noises can have several origins: noises due to inhabitants (music, voice, noisy occupations), noises due to heating (circulation fans, vibrations of ducts due to air circulation). The first noises cannot be eliminated, the latter can be minimized by the use of silent but expensive fans and by sufficient sizing of the pipes, resulting in a larger footprint and a corresponding cost price.

The invention aims to eliminate traditional heating ducts and replace them with pipes integrated in the walls constituting the exterior walls of dwellings produced by industrially prefabricated panels.

The explanations and figures given below by way of example will make it possible to understand how the invention can be carried out.

Figure 1 shows a section of a wall having an integrated duct.

Figure 2 is a partial schematic view of a heating circuit according to the invention.

Figure 1 shows in section a residential wall made from prefabricated concrete panels.

The foundations 1 are poured in place onto which the floor 2 is placed, reserving, for example, a crawlspace 3. The elements, panels and floorboards, are assembled by means such as that described, for example in French patent 2,281,464, and which consist of male 4 and female 5 profiles of corresponding shape extending over the entire length of the edges of the elements.

When the supporting or interior walls 6, 7 are mounted, the same procedure is followed for mounting the curtain or exterior walls 8, 9. The panels constituting the interior walls, as well as those constituting the exterior walls, are provided on their internal faces of a thermal insulator made up of polystyrene sheets or of mineral wool panels 10, 11. According to the form of insulation shown, an air space 12 is reserved between the two thicknesses of insulator. According to another embodiment not shown, the insulation consists of a single thickness of insulation, at least one face of which is fixed against the interior or exterior walls.

The process for manufacturing a hot air heating circuit, integrated in the elements of industrial construction, consists in forming, in the thermal insulation plates included between the interior and exterior walls, conduits of which at least part of the walls consists of the insulating material.

The conduits are formed according to the distribution and / or extraction scheme of the heating air.

The openings 13, forming heating vents, provided in the bottom of the interior walls, communicate with the conduits 14 formed in the layer of insulation close to the wall of the interior wall.

When the insulation is made by two plates separated by a vacuum, the duct will be obtained by interrupting the insulation obtained, for example, by the spacing of two insulating plates fixed to the interior wall, or by at least partial removal of said insulator. When the duct is formed from the insulating face which is not fixed to the interior wall, by spacing or removal of insulating material, a closing element closing off the duct must be provided.

The conduit can be obtained from the insulating face fixed to the interior wall by molding or pressing a channel, the closure of the conduit being ensured by the interior wall.

This method is also applicable when
The insulation consists of a single thickness of insulation.

Figure 2 shows front view and in section through such a home with a heating circuit with integrated conduits. The conduits have been shown to be straight and vertical, but it is possible to make curved or inclined conduits, connections, etc.

A heating circuit, using conduits integrated in the thermal insulation according to the invention, makes it possible to attenuate the transmission of noise from one room or from one floor to another, and also noise due to heating.

Such a duct system allows the multiplication of heating and extraction vents, resulting in better air distribution. Therefore, the use of low temperature air (20 to 350) is possible and provides better comfort.

The temperature of the heating air may however be higher, its limit being that which the insulator supports.
