Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'un système de cathode chauffée indirectement comprenant un substrat de cathode pourvu, sur l'une de ses surfaces, d'un matériau émettant des electrons et d'un filament de chauffage espacé, de façon fixe et déterminée, à partir de son extrémité opposée, ce procédé étant caractérisé en ce que ledit filament de chauffage est monté sur le substrat de la cathode par les étapes successives suivantes : - On écarte ledit filament de chauffage de ladite surface opposée du substrat de cathode en utilisant un matériau d'espacement qui, lorsqu'il est chauffé, se décompose pratiquement totalement en fragments volatils; - On fixe ce filament de chauffage avec ledit écartement par rapport au substrat de cathode; et, - On procède au chauffage du matériau d'espacement, afin de le décomposer en fragments volatils.
