Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie des pesticides. Elle a pour objet une composition comprenant une solution qui contient 5 à 50 % en poids d'un sel de métal alcalin de 1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one brute dans un solvant organique hydroxylé comprenant au moins un composé choisi parmi le dipropylèneglycol, le tripropylèneglycol, les polypropylèneglycols, les polyéthylèneglycols, les éthers alkyliques inférieurs de diéthylèneglycol, le méthanol, l'éthanol et les mélanges d'au moins un de ces solvants avec de l'eau. Ces compositions biocides sont préférées pour les applications exigeant un contact indirect avec les aliments et la protection en emballage métallique des peintures à base aqueuse qu'elles ne font pas jaunir.
