1,191,253. Biocidal composition containing amine salts of benzisothiazolone. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 13 Jan., 1969 [21 Feb., 1968], No. 8427/68. Heading A5E. A composition, finding application in the protection of aqueous media against infection by micro-organisms, comprises an aqueous solution of crude 1:2-benzisothiazolone in the form of a mixture of two or more amine salts thereof, the amines being selected from diethanolamine, triethanolamine, diisopmapanolamine, triisopropanolamine and morpholine. Glycols may be present.
