Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode de contrôle d'un procédé de fabrication d'acier à des pressions réduites. Selon l'invention, on forme un mélange intime d'un gaz d'échappement et d'un gaz de référence, on contrôle par spectrométrie de masse un échantillon du mélange à la recherche des courants d'ionisation pour des pics choisis concernant CO, CO2 , N2 et le gaz de référence dans l'échantillon; on détermine le taux de décarburation de l'acier fondu à partir de la valeur mesurée de la quantité du gaz de référence dans le mélange et des valeurs mesurées des courants d'ionisation et on controle le procédé selon la valeur déterminée du taux de décarburation. Le dessin joint montre le fait que le changement de la quantité du gaz de référence, DELTA jA est proportionnel au changement du courant d'ionisation DELTA XA pour le parent du gaz de référence. L'invention s'applique notamment à la production d'acier inoxydable.
