Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour éliminer la charge résiduelle de fond lors de la reproduction électrophotographique d'image et un appareil pour sa mise en oeuvre. Dans un boîtier 1 comportant un fond conducteur 3 et un couvercle en forme de plaque xérographique 4, qui sont raccordés l'un à un générateur d'air comprime 9 pour la projection de toner et l'autre à une source de courant continu 12, et comportant une grille 7 reliée à ladite source 12, une tension compensant dans une large mesure la charge de fond résiduelle d'une couche 6 faisant partie de la plaque 4 est appliquée au support 5 de la couche 6 avec une polarité opposée à celle de l'image de charge. Application notamment dans le domaine du radiodiagnostic, en électroradiographie.
