Abstract

The carton is manufactured from corrugated cardboard and has two sides (14B) and two end pieces (14A). An edge piece (17) adjacent to (14B) may be tucked under the other end (14A) when the box is formed. The edges (15) are scored along the cardboard. The base is made from four panels, each at an extension of a side or end. The slit between two consecutive panels of the base (19A, 19B) is cut short of the edge join (18A, 18B) so that a corner hole does not appear where the box is formed. The lid is similarly formed from four panels which extend from the side panels. Corners are formed by cutting one side of the corrugations.
