Abstract

A pneumatic stapling machine with a pusher plate (13) driven by compressed air and carried in a support head (10) has a guide piece (15) immediately above the pusher, with a recess in its upper face which is engaged by an eccentric boss (19) on the end of a pin (18) with a finger grip (183) on the top so that when the pin is rotated against spring (21) by the finger grip (183), the guide piece (15) is moved so as to vary the depth of insertion of the staples. An alternative adjusting screw with sloping faced sliding blocks is shown.
