Abstract

928,476. Feeding wooden blocks. PHOENIX TIMBER CO. Ltd. May 15, 1961 [May 13, 1960], No. 17080/60. Class 78 (1). Elongated wooden blocks are fed from maga'- zine 2 on to boards 13 to form spacing blocks therebetween by a pair of oscillating cams 11. Each cam is formed with a projection which engages the lowermost block to eject it from the magazine and to cause it to fall between spring guides 12 which guide the block on to the boards 13. The resilience of guides 12 permit the adjustment of the height of boards 13. The two cams 11 are secured to shaft 7 operated by piston cylinder 9 via lever 10.
